HiLands Foods is a family owned business with a business structure, which includes Board of Advisers, Focus Groups and network of agencies and consultants internationally.

Amongst the Leadership Team and Board of Advisers, the team has over 100 years experience collectively in their respective fields. Members of Board of Advisors include personnel with experience in food, beverage, accounting and finance, legal, marketing and packaging industry.

Aunindra B Bachu, JP, AIMM, CEO, (also known as Raj Bachu) has extensive experience in food and franchise industry, having worked in the franchised food business since 1983. Raj Bachu, with natural entrepreneurial instincts and vision established, owned and operated family businesses in challenging industries. The BACHU family led by Aunindra owned franchised cleaning enterprise, mobile self-storage business, promotions company, coffee vending franchisor and pioneered market development, for now, a leading franchised pizza company owning and operating eleven (11) stores throughout Sydney North West areas. The family business championed opening seven (7) of the stores owned in Greenfield areas.

Raj Bachu, with an extensive experience in fast-service food and franchised sector, developed a passion for food. This passion has led to consultancy work for clients locally and abroad.

The potential growth in premium bean-to-cup coffee and vending excited his vision to develop the market in ‘coffee for the workplace’ with great tasting coffee and exceptional service.This led Raj to develop an online coffee store and coffee distribution network and now venture into food distribution, import, and export network.

Raj Bachu a member of The Franchise Council of Australia, the Australian Institute of Management, Sydney Hills Chamber and NSW Chamber of Commerce.

Usha K Bachu (Mrs), Administrative Officer/Director, has extensive experience in health insurance industry and administrative duties. Usha Bachu having worked in health insurance field for twenty-five years is competent in customer service and franchise management with being franchisee and stakeholder in previous family-owned enterprises.

Usha Bachu is the head of administration and customer service.

David Walker, Business Development Officer is a highly focused sale and marketing professional. David Walker has a strong work ethic and versatile background in selling a range of consumer products. He has a wide experience in the retail distribution network and territory management and support multiple key accounts.

David Walker is a strong relationship builder with a focus on business development.

Neel Maharaj, Business Development Officer has extensive experience in sales and marketing in the Australian market. Neel has versatile work experience with Australia Post and in ethnic foods distribution, with focus on Indian and Island foods. He is focused on business development through networking and with a strong belief in ethics, credibility and relationship building.
